Prevention
Prevention consists of profound objectives which
are not simple indications of possible dangers. It is a
health-economic-psycho-social education at the same time. Developed
countries now rely on preventive principles with regard to positive
health-economic-psycho-social consequences either at the level of
the individual or of society despite the means at their disposal.
For example, occupational deafness cannot be compensated by money or
material means. Thus, the best solution is to devote the means to
prevention in a technical and organized way, also to sensitize
people to take the necessary precautions concerning the causes
leading to occupational diseases.
The creation of the prevention and ergonomics
laboratory is part of the revitalization of the logical relationship
between the university and the economic and social institutions with
a view to highlighting the real role of scientific research thanks
to its effective participation in the field to solve the problems
posed and to overcome the psycho-socio-health-economic difficulties
and consequently by trying to polarize the various existing
scientific skills and capacities in a structured framework to offer
them the opportunity to participate in the development of the
national economy in particular. |
